Hello everyone! It’s been almost a month since my last update for the Aggregate Sub List. My reason being, I was simply waiting for another major change to the Sub Tier Lists by Game8, Altema, and GameWith. To be fair, JP has had huge card/evo releases in February (from Heroine, Valentines, DBDC, 6th anniversary), but the changes never came. So I had to post something, so here it is.
All of the sub tier lists remain unchanged, save for GameWith’s list. They have added in the new Awoken Blue/Green Sonias to their list, and indeed they do deserve the spot. As covered in my last week’s Aggregate Leader post, their “next level” awakenings and superb active skill as well as stats function very well in their respective mono-color team. Though unfortunately, they do not work as universally as the cards on our Aggregate Sub List, thus they cannot climb any higher (for now)
Shonen Sunday’s 4th Collab with PAD JP is due to start next week, with a plethora of buffs to old cards and new evos/cards alike. While this isn’t super relevant in NA, I think it’s always nice to observe and discuss what power creep does to old collab cards.
With all these materials to work with, we should be seeing another major Sub list change within the coming weeks.
To be continued!
Directed at EVERYONE, and not just the newer players:
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD)
â”Do not take these ratings as facts; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which subs are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically nonviable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
The Subs below mostly accompany top combo/colour leads, such as the leaders from my “JP Aggregate Leader List” posts. They boast tremendous firepower through their multiple 7c awakenings and/or have valuable killer awakenings (such as God, dragon, devil killers). HOWEVER, they are not universal; all subs should be built around your leader, and more importantly the DUNGEON you are tackling. Which goes back to my main point: “Donât take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which subs are actually the best for your specific situation.”
