Hey everyone. May not have another post until the end of December, so here’s an early Merry Christmas! Since last time, I touched briefly on the Kamen Rider Collab (JP only). I mentioned that Black RX and First&Second was going to be the cards to watch for. Lo and behold, Black RX managed to jump up to Tier 1, and First&Second to Tier 2. I will talk about Black RX’s placement below. In addition, I will touch on the new cards that joined the fray: Light Bastet. Finally, my thoughts on the Heroine and the Christmas REM.
His leader skill of 1.5x all stats to Wood type is very flexible and tanky. His max ATK multiplier at 182x with double Black RX lead is quite generous and also comes with a 43% shield. With key subs such as Tardis (1-turn active), Zela (damage stick with her three 7c awakening), and Odin Dragon (bind + awoken bind recovery), his team in Alt Arena becomes quite consistent and safe.
His active skill of creating 9 wood orbs might seem weak at first, but it actually guarantees a wood VDP, which goes well with his 2 VDP awakenings.
His glaring weakness of lacking unbindable awakening can be circumvented with an unbindable equip. Most notable and useful equip being this one. Not only does it provide unbindable Assist, but the Assst active skill itself is a “Fujin” active.
One may argue that this setup is “whale” or “pay to win”, but keep in mind that we ARE talking about Leader list here. As stated in the disclaimer below, everything is fair game. It seems I underestimated him in my last tier list post, and I apologise if this has led to people not rolling/trading for him. This is the true potential of Black RX:
Suu’s Alt Arena run
Before you get all excited, Light Bastet currently is only available in JP through opening “Monster Memory” packs that sell for 320 yen each (~$3 USD). So, Light Bastet is NOT available through any means of Evolution on the normal Wood Bastet. Though, like all PADR cards in the past, she will most likely be available in future for 750,000 MP.
Anyway! Her stats and capabilities are not anything to laugh about: She reaches 2.25x HP, 225x ATK, and 43& shield at max multiplier with double lead Bastet, with easy activation conditions. Her active skill at 1-turn cooldown means she fulfills her “skill activation” part of her leader skill by herself.
And she comes with usual “Meta” package: Balanced-typing, unbindable awakening, Time Extend, 7C, Team HP and Team RCV, etc.
Her biggest drawback is perhaps from the first part of her leader skill: 1.5x ATK and HP to God type. Good Light God types aren’t easy to come by. Most of the “good” Light subs aren’t Gods (Light Ideal, Edward, Roots, Yusuke, Yuna, etc.) Instead we are stuck with cards like Valkyrie CIEL, Athena NON, Yog, Odin Dragon… Not bad cards by any means, but what could’ve been. This places her at Tier 2 (tentative) on our Aggregate Leader List.
Shuu’s Light Bastet vs. Alt Arena
First, the Heroine REM. Ilmina, amongst many others, received big buffs. However, many of the 6* diamond rolls are becoming less and less relevant. Oria can be nice to have, but at the expense of this 10-stone REM? Debatable. The 7* lineup remain to be good rolls, though cards like Uruka have fallen off; and Planar (dark version) only sees use in dark God teams such as on DMeta’s. I’ve yet to see very good use of Chern yet. So (buffed) Ilmina remain to be the diamond amongst diamonds in this REM. At 2% rate however, my accounts have gone broke trying to roll for her to no avail.
We’ve seen 10-stone Super Godfests (like the ones we recently had) that feature these 7* at good rates, so instead of rolling for the Heroine REM, you’re better off waiting and rolling Super GF instead, in my opinion.
Finally something for NA servers as well! Most people have talked about this, but the Christmas REM is far from great. Christmas Ilmina, Yog, and Romia at 8* can be nice to have, but the rest are pretty bad. The 8* rate is only 7.5%; Natti has rolled 800 stones and only gotten 1 8*. He’s gotten 4 more 8* in the next 200 stones, but this still goes to show how bad the rates are. Definitely avoid rolling.
Wow, this post has gotten quite a lot more lengthy than I thought. Do people even read all of my rambling? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the double post this week! Thank you for reading!
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD)
On all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically non-viable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists pretty much assume BEST and OPTIMAL subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (3-Player Rushes, Alt Arena, Arena 4, etc.) Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling + comboing skills.
