Hi everyone; there hasn’t been many new additions over at the JP server the last 3 weeks, hence the lack of my Aggregate List. However, the new Kamen Rider Collab has just landed and I’d like to put out a post on my impressions, as well as adding them onto the tier list. Also, my stone-spending recommendations will be at the end, so stay until the end!
Kamen Rider Collab
This is a new collab over at the JP server featuring masked people doing heroic things. I am not familiar with this series, so I’ll just jump into my impressions:
The 5* Gold rolls (85.5% of the REM) is what you’d expect with these collabs: weak standalone cards. But, most of these have decent Assist Evolutions, as well as decent active skills, that CAN have uses in farming teams:
Kamen Rider, Ryuki’s assist form has 2 fire rows and 1 SBR, as well as having a fire row maker + enhance as his active. Could work on Fire row farming teams such as assists on Machine Goemon.
Kamen Rider, V3’s assist form notably has 2 wood rows, as well as a double row changer (wood + heal) and a 2x wood enhance active. Could work on wood row farming teams, such as assists on Dios. Could also work as a double row changer for making VDP boards.
Kamen Rider, W’s skill is effectively a 3-turn Carat enhance with 20 turn CD. Could be worth rolling/buying for if you don’t have a Carat already. (Note that he is a 5* roll, but his rate is only 3.5% compared to the 14.25% of the other golds. Also, he comes with a Kamen Rider orb skin)
And finally, the 6* Diamond rolls of this collab. I will prepare a more detailed post for next time on these guys, but for now it’s pretty clear that there are some meta cards in the mix! Some notable ones include:
Kamen Riders, The First & The Second has a pretty crazy leader skill. Unconditional 4x attack and 2x HP and +3 seconds, and 3x attack at 6 combos! That’s 12x attack and 2x hp without having any team building requirements, and only 6 combos. Though, his advantage is balanced by his comparatively poorer awakenings (no bind resist, 4 TPAs when it could be 7c). Has unbindable awakening in his assist form, however. Currently ranked Tier 3 on our Aggregate Leader List.
And finally, we have Kamen Rider, BLACK. He is what I believe to be the best roll of the collab. Can be quite versatile because he has 3 completely different ultimate evolutions, though Kamen Rider, BLACK RX stands out the most. 1.5x all stats to Wood, 3x attack for skill usage, 3x attack + 25% shield for 4+ combos. Basically a match made in heaven with Tardis (from DBDC). Just as tanky as 2x HP leads, but also has that 1.5x RCV. Max attack multiplier at 13.5x. Currently Tier 3 on the list, but he could very well go up to Tier 2 in my opinion.
Advice on rolling (temp.)
My verdict is that, while Kamen Rider has some great rolls in the form of First&Second and Black, they basically require a unbindable assist equip to combat their glaring weakness to binds. Also keep in mind that it is 6 stones per roll instead of the usual 5. Nothing super broken/must-haves.
Arguably, the current 10-stone super godfest has better value, especially on the rate of the 7* Witches. It’s 1.5% on all 5 of them, totalling 7.5%. The previous 10-stone godfest’s rates on Witches maxed out at 6% at best.
Kamen Rider is going to get the usual treatment from me: enough rolls (usually ~6) to get most of the gold rolls from the REM for collection/niche use, and hope to snag a diamond roll along the way. There will definitely be better uses for your stones (Christmas? Heroines?)
Thank you for reading!
(Edit: I’ve rolled 10 times total and got 3 diamonds. Couldn’t be happier, needless to say)
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD)
On all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically non-viable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists pretty much assume BEST and OPTIMAL subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (3-Player Rushes, Alt Arena, Arena 4, etc.) Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling + comboing skills.
