*Edit: Revised part on DKali
Hi all. No changes this week, so I figured I should discuss a little bit about the content releases and new JP ult evos.
The Justice League collab had simultaneous release on all PAD servers 4-5 days ago. Surprisingly enough, Gungho has decided NOT to overly buff nor add any game/meta changing cards. Superman I believe has gotten a devil killer and some buffs, which can potentially make him viable in Yog teams in 3p, but I think that’s about it. Considering seasonals of much greater value is coming to NA (Dragonbound.caller REM), you should hold onto your stones for this one.
Australis, Eschamali, and the Kalis received Ult Evos recently. It’s on PADX if you haven’t checked it out. Our card of interest, however, is the long awaited Dark Kali’s UEvo. She has 1.5x all parameters to God and Devil types and +1 second move time on her leader skill. Meaning she will indeed pair well with our old friend Diablos. However, her color activation for that other 7x attack I believe comes as a disappointment. Strictly speaking, it’s not bad, but getting hit with an orb-changing preempt that erases any of the orbs other than light, and you probably have to burn a skill or stall a bit. In Alt Arena, however, you might not necessarily get that luxury. (I’m biased against rainbow teams if you haven’t noticed). Let’s see what the JP players think of her in the coming weeks.
Now that I think about it further, DKali is basically a slightly buffed Ra Dragon with +1 second move time and buffs devils as well as gods.
Until next week!
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD) on all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically nonviable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists assume BEST subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (Arena 3, 3-Player Rushes, ALT Arena/Arena 4). Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling/comboing skills.
