Hi and welcome! This post will talk mostly about the “Sunday All-stars” Collab happening on the JP server. For my NA players out there, I have done a small write-up on Barbara & Julie in my last leader post. In short, rolling in Beach REM should generally be avoided due to shitty rates. Instead, hit up the Trading Post for cards like Barbara & Julie and maybe Fujin. As always, do read up on my post above and do your homework before making that decision!
Anyway, onto the juicier part! JP server has the “Sunday All-Stars” Collab ongoing as of Monday this week, featuring some of the popular manga series such as Detective Conan, Inuyasha, and more. Amongst the numerous buffed 6* characters (full details not discussed here, but should be somewhere at Reni’s blog), one newcomer caught a lot of our attention: Shirogane, from Katakuri Circus.
While she has only earned a Tier 4 spot temporarily, I feel she may earn more recognition soon, when YouTubers start featuring her in Arena runs. Full details of her card provided via PADX.
In short, her leader skill is being compared side-to-side with Ult Madu. Light 4x ATK and 35% shield when above 50% HP (similar to Edward Elric’s), and 3x ATK + 2x RCV when clearing any 5 connected orbs (similar to Madu). While her max multipler of 12x ATK isn’t anything to brag about, her stronger shield (35% vs Madu’s 25%), ease of activation, and potential speed in farming earned her much praise.
Also the fact that she is easier to obtain compared to Madu, as well as being Light element. While I haven’t looked at the good sub pools of both her and Madu’s, I do know for a fact that Fire subs are generally more lacklustre than Light subs (having Light Ideal, Ilmina, Yuna, OdinDra, etc.) Though Madu does have 3 extra seconds of move time built into her LS. Either way, Shirogane’s definitely a contender vs. Madu.
Unforunately she suffers the same fate as Madu: You can see the video showcases of Shirogane here. Most of them only feature up to Arena 3 or Arena 4 (Three Hands of Fate). 56% conditional shield and no HP multipliers is still quite tricky to tackle Alt Arena. I predict she will stabilize at Tier 3 maximum on our Aggregate Leader List.
In terms of rolling for Sunday All-Stars REM, I think it’s definitely worth a few rolls, if you only have a few Sunday cards like me. Always worth a gamble to try to snag a 6* (or 5*, some are quite good for farming or possibly Ranking Dungeon). Gungho always manages to buff the 6* rolls each time the Collab comes around. Quite ridiculous how far the cards have become, actually.
Anyway, that’s it for this week. Thank you for reading!
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD)
On all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically non-viable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists pretty much assume BEST and OPTIMAL subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (3-Player Rushes, Alt Arena, Arena 4, etc.) Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling + comboing skills.
