Hey guys. Going to start with the Aggregate Leader List for Puzzle and Dragons JP server, then I’ll resume with my REM reviews for this week!
PAD Aggregate Leader List
GameWith, the site that had a top 10 format for their list, decided to expand to 23 cards. The new additions threw off the weightings and balance of the Aggregate List altogether. Currently I am testing with new and experimental weightings. If you do notice any discrepancies, please do let me know!
Many old and new Light leads have surfaced again onto the list. We’re talking Ryu, Superman, Aerith, Cloud, Dark Karin and more. You guessed it, it is because of the powerhouse and damage stick of Wedding Zela. And lowkey the newly buffed Yuna from Final Fantasy as well, with her +3 second move time from her awakening (up from +2 seconds) and her Super Awakening, notably bind resist.
Is this the start of a new Light meta…?
Seasonal Super God Fest (JP/NA)
As always, the 10-stone seasonal SGF, in my opinion, holds more value than the normal 10-stone SGFs at this point. We should have most of the 6* and even the 7* GFE by now, so naturally rolling for the elusive 8* Seasonal cards will give more value.
As for whether those seasonal cards will actually benefit your account is a different story. Once again, it is highly dependant on your box. Do your homework and roll for when you have the best chances at a unique.
Draconic Orchestra REM (NA)
The next instalment of 10-stone REM finally arrives for the Puzzle and Dragons NA server! I have detailed some of my thoughts on this a month prior, for the JP release here.
And my opinion mostly remains unchanged: this REM, or at least in its current iteration, isn’t worth rolling.
There ARE some redeeming cards in the REM, notably 7* Phenon (Trumpet Haku currently Tier 3), but the other 6/7* aren’t as great. Well, they’re not bad per se, but definitely not worth the 10-stone per roll cost.
And yes, this is the REM for Lotta Lotta; good for counterattack memes and for ranking, if you’re into that. But since it’s only a 5*, I doubt you’ll have too much trouble getting her.
It’s worth rolling up to 6 or so for collection purposes, but I would not use up your reserve of stones, nor pull out your wallet for this one. Not until they buff it or add new cards to it.
Final Fantasy REM (JP)
From my last post, Final Fantasy has been buffed so much, it’s actually pretty ridiculous. With it being such an old collab (and everyone pretty much had a lot of the diamond rolls like Cloud or Yuna), Gungho decided to buff their leader/active/awoken skills like crazy and even throw good Assist Evo forms for them.
All for the good rates of 2.5% each for diamond rolls (22.5% total), AND still for only 5 stones per roll.
So yes, if you haven’t rolled your fair share already, please do. A little under 24 hours left for JP players!
And for NA players; ready your stones (and wallets?)
DBDC returns (JP)
Dragon bound and Dragon caller REM returns to Puzzle and Dragons JP server next week, with the addition of 2 new 7* and 1 6* cards to chase for! This is arguably the best 10-stone REM to roll for currently, especially if you’ve never rolled in one before.
Great lineup of 7* and 6*, most of which can work as a lead, sub or as an inherit for their skills at worst. 5* have the classic triple killer damage sticks like No. 6, Shazel, Kiri, and even Pralinae.
I’d say if you’re still missing like at least half of the cast, roll! If you’re past that mark, I’d say roll if you like your odds of getting a unique or 7* from the REM. For me that point usually hovers at around 30% to 40%.
That’s going to do it for this week. As always, thanks for reading!
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD)
On all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically non-viable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists pretty much assume BEST and OPTIMAL subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (3-Player Rushes, Alt Arena, Arena 4, etc.) Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling + comboing skills.
