Hello everyone! If you haven’t noticed already, BakaData.com has underwent a site upgrade, most notably it is now more mobile-friendly. I had put my time into the design, hence why I have delayed in posting the JP Aggregate List. Sorry for this! If you have any feedback and/or concerns, please do feel free to let me know in the comments or the contact form!Anyway, in my “absence” the last two weeks from the tier lists, it seems all 4 of the JP tier list sites have had changes. Some of these are due to the GungFest back in the end of May (with the addition of that Loli Myr), and more notably from the introduction of the Magazine All Stars Collab. In my opinion, the new 6* REM additions consisting of Ippo, Chinmi, and Gash are all pretty decent, but I feel they are a tad overhyped by sites such as Game8, AppMedia, and most notably by GameWith.
Because of the reasons above, as well as my late post and the fact that the Magazine Collab ends in ~10 hours, I will only briefly go over each of them instead. (You can click on the names below to go to their PADX page for their info)
Quite tanky at 4/100/4 of effective multiplier. Attack multiplier is a tad on the weak side, but can be circumvented again with the use of killers and 7c subs. Perhaps the most noteworthy point that earned him his Tier 3 status on the Aggregate list is his active skill: 5 turn awoken bind recovery and fire orb change at only 7 turn CD is pretty damn good. Obviously this is only good if the dungeon even has awoken bind, but hey, the tier list is pretty much tailored towards Alt Arena anyways, so nothing much to say there.
Average to above average awakenings and stats across the board, Chinmi’s strengths comes from his Leader Skill. Max 196x attack and 50% shield at 9 combos and attacking with 5 colors is pretty good, but also means you’ll probably have to pair with Diablos most of the time to reliably activate both his combo + rainbow conditions. Although, do take note that his attack multiplier and shield is completely separate, meaning you actually do not need to match rainbow if, for example, you know for certain you’ll kill the current floor and the next floor doesn’t have huge preempts.
Now here’s the card that I think doesn’t deserve the amount of praise its been getting. While his 1.5x all parameters to Light cards are the same as to the infamous Yusuke, part of Gash’s attack (2x) multiplier comes from a skill activation. Also, his other 4x attack and 25% shield comes from matching 6+ light orbs, which should have set off red flags for the writers over at GameWith and Game8… Yet Gash still made it to Tier 4. Obviously in my opinion he’s a pretty good farming lead, but should not be tackling dungeons such as Alt Arena.
Overall, pretty average collab REM to be rolling. The 5* golds are pretty trash, but the recently buffed 6* diamond rolls of Magazine all have decent uses in lead, sub, and assist. And the diamond rate is 20% to boot. Though, by today’s standards, there are better things to be using your magic stones for.
In other news, if you’re still here, I’ve recently corrected some rankings on the Aggregate Leader List due to the huge shift in rankings of the 4 tier list sites. So, more than ever, please take the rankings as merely a base and guideline, and a point for discussion. Also let me know if anything looks out of place.
As usual, thanks for reading!
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD) on all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically non-viable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists assume BEST subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (3-Player Rushes, ALT Arena/Arena 4). Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling/comboing skills.
