Hello guys, sorry for my late post. But, I am here finally with the anticipated post focusing on the NEW, 2nd in line of Gungho’s 7* GFE. There was that Reddit post a few days ago showcasing the template for making meta cards, and Riche’s awakenings certainly fills out that template pretty well. Indeed; I feel PAD’s “new” content of releasing these meta cards and new descends are getting stale fast. If not for the loyal and long-term fan base since 2013, this game wouldn’t hold up at all against the fierce gaming rivalry. Just look what’s happening to Chrono Ma:gia.
Anyway, enough small talk; here is the card information on Riche (taken off of PAD Community Discord Server):
Again, this card has practically “META” slapped all over her, that we have definitely seen before (YUSUKE from Yu Yu Hakusho as an example):
- Unbindable, 2 7c, 2 skill charge
- High 1099 weighted stats
- Balance typing, able to take any Latent Killer Awakening
- Versatile 4-part active skill
- Versatile and 16x ATK leader skill, with extra matching time and shield
The first thing to note is her active skill. Nullifies both damage absorb and Attribute absorb, both of which are pretty rampant and important to take into Arena 4/Alt Arena. The cooldown is a whopping 30 turns, but this is where that 2 skill charge awakenings come into play. With perfect rainbow matching each turn, you can get her skill charged in just 10 turns, which is the best we’ve seen so far, surpassing that of Uruka and her Seasonal counterparts for both damage AND attribute absorb. On top of all this, Riche’s skill also gives board unlock and DKali board to boot, making sure you’re able to burst down that current floor.
And if that wasn’t enough, her Leader Skill is impressive as well. She achieves 25% shield and 4x attack for just getting 7+ combos. Add her innate +2 second matching time from her leader skill, and it’s pretty much guaranteed 7+ combo every match. Her second attack multiplier of 4x comes from attacking with 4 attributes at once, but you’re going to be playing and aiming for a rainbow match anyway (to activate Skill Charge awakening). So every part of her leader skill comes naturally.
The only downside to her Leader Skill that I can think of, is not being able to stall that well for skills. Ideally you’ll want to be matching all 5 colors for skill charge, but you’ll trigger the 4x attack. Also, since you’re stalling, you’ll probably want 7 combos to have that 25% shield, but that triggers her other 4x attack (and also triggers 7 combo awakenings). But honestly speaking, you shouldn’t need to stall much at all with all of the tools Riche is giving you as a leader.
Finally, she has the traditional strong awakenings, Balanced typing, and high weighted stats. More than enough to earn her a spot in Tier 2 of our Aggregate Leader List this week.
(And in case you were wondering, her team consists of the usual gang: Light Ideal, Odin Dragon, Amamiya Ren (who I featured in my last week’s SUB post), Uruka, Zinogre, and etc. Her ideal pairing is either with herself, or Diablos, of course.)
That will be all for this week’s post. Gungho festival is tomorrow, so be sure to hang tight; I think there will definitely be more meta-changing news coming. Thanks for reading!
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD) on all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically non-viable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists assume BEST subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (3-Player Rushes, ALT Arena/Arena 4). Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling/comboing skills.
