Hey guys! First, sorry for the one-month unannounced delay on the Aggregate lists. I’ve been recently struck with ill-fortune in regards to my family and relatives, so I have been way too under the weather to blog, and even to play PAD for that matter. “Most” of my problems have swept past, so I am back here once again…!
*Before I forget, while all the sites have been updated recently, Sqool has yet again disappointed me with their lackluster update to their list. I am now officially looking for another good/reliable tier list to take its place. If you have any suggestions, please let me know down below on Disqus comments or via Reddit.
While in my absence I seemed to have missed quite a few events and new pantheons, though the ones that mattered were the New Years cards and notably the new Monster Hunter cards. I will (attempt to) go over the notable new cards: NY Kamimusubi, Zinogre, and Nergigante.
New Years Kamimusubi
Basically a fire row version of the regular Kamimusubi, with better awakenings and active skill. Having that 3 turn bind recovery actually protects her team pretty well at a low CD active, and creates a row of hearts to boot. 3 more heart orbs and you got yourself a heart box to kill those pesky resolve mobs. Though, having to play rows and heart box for killing resolves mean you’re going to be needing more move time and sacrificing combos and good 7c subs.
Therefore it is actually better to play her without rows. Long explanation short, AppMedia has a template team to showcase how you should be playing your NY Kamimusubi instead:
NY Kamimusubi / Red Cotton / Ilmina / Light Ideal / Edward Elric
Massive damage, comfortable movement time, bind recovery, board change, enhance, resolve killer, delay, and possibly more through the use of inherits. Sweet Jesus.
Nergigante and Zinogre
More monster hunter powerhouses. I am still looking over the new Monter Hunter REM, so I can only provide my first impressions on these cards. Will probably have a more detailed post for next week. But, in case you’re wondering if you should be rolling for these shiny new 7*: Yes. At least until you have one of the four 7* (or you go broke).
Anyway, Zinogre, at first glance, packs a lot of use all into one card. Notably, we see a synergistic active skill + null damage absorb, awesome leader awakenings and a skill charge to boot, insane weighted stats, and a much-needed tanky active to tackle harder content. I swear, the new PAD meta is defined by these shiny new collab cards as opposed to “regular” pantheons.
Nergigante, to no one’s surprise, also has a lot going for him in one complete package. Superb awakenings + FUA, a dark variant of Wedding Scheat’s active skill (very synergistic, mind you), uber weighted stats, and a “Edward”-like leader skill. Easy to activate and dishes out damage. What more do you need?
Sorry for the short blurb on the new MH cards; I have yet to do my full research on them. Can have a more detailed post for next week on Nergigante/Zinogre, if that’s what the community wants.
Again, sorry for my prolonged absence. Happy PADing!
DISCLAIMER: (quoted from SetsuPAD) on all current and future Aggregate/Tier lists: “Don’t take these ratings as fact; I encourage you to simply take them as a starting point for discussion to figure out which leads are actually the best for your specific situation.”
Cards you own that are not on these Tier Lists are not automatically nonviable, and cards you own that are on these Tier Lists are not automatically viable.
These tier lists assume BEST subs (often hard-to-acquire GFEs/collab cards) tackling hard dungeons (Arena 3, 3-Player Rushes, ALT Arena/Arena 4). Therefore, their uses largely depend on your box, your progression in PAD, and personal puzzling/comboing skills.
